This piece was surprising, cathartic, and unplanned following the gift of a medical illustrations book this month. Land of the Free? sums up my feelings toward the absent mourning of the literal mountain of dead at our U.S doorstep and the very twisted path that lead them to death. 277,000 dead here and counting. Over 1.5 million dead globally. Mask up. Stay home. Stay safe.
